For my senior capstone class (Concept to Consumer) we had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with a local brand, SOUNDOFF and The Chicago Sky. We were divided into groups of 10 and were to establish a blank spot in their current market, create a concept for a collection of garments- and bring it to life!
This was our final presentation that we pitched to Daryl Sneed (owner of SOUNDOFF) and a Chicago Sky representative at the end of our first semester; where we focused largely on the concept and product development aspect of the collection.
The first thing we did second semester was have a photoshoot for the garments we created! This was our overall plan for the shoot and includes the final photos at the end of the presentation.
This was our final presentation for the end of the second semester- which we presented to Daryl and The Chicago Sky representative- in which we covered the marketing/merchandising as well as potential partnerships for this collection. We based our mockup posts on the social media research we gathered on a competitor and the best practices we observed.

This is a video of our final visual display-the last assignment of the semester. It was displayed in the 618 S. Michigan Ave. windows.

And then for the first time in the history of the class....our designs were used to create real shoppable merchandise! The collection was available for purchase throughout the entire season at the Wintrust Arena. It was by far my proudest accomplishment throughout my entire college career. Our class was even given free tickets to the first game so we could see the merchandise in action!  To top it off? ABC 7 Chicago invited us to show off the collaboration on live tv, something I've never done before. It was the perfect way to end my college experience.
